We are thrilled to announce that the
VINsider Wine Club Collector's Edition is expanding its membership for 2010.
Collector's Edition members have exclusive access to library vintages of
Esprit de Beaucastel wines that we have aged in ideal conditions in our own cellars since the 2003 vintage. Members will also receive an increased allocation of our newest
Esprit de Beaucastel wines. 2010 membership in this program is limited to 400, and registration must be received by the end of July.

HR 5034 Threatens Legal Direct Shipping
In April, HR 5034 was introduced into the US House of Representatives. If passed, federal direct shipping regulations would revert to 2005 levels. Like most anti-shipping bills, it uses scare tactics on underage drinking and loss of tax revenue but is really concerned with guaranteeing liquor distributors' share of wine and spirits revenue.
If it becomes law, it would eliminate consumer access to thousands of wineries, nearly all of them small, and tens of thousands of wines with productions too small to make it into distribution. It would also likely bankrupt hundreds of small wineries aroud the country. You can learn more about
