Washington Post: an exceptional California rosé to beat the heat
In a new feature for the Washington Post, Columnist Dave MacIntyre recommends three wines for summer drinking. One of these was our 2023 Patelin de Tablas Rosé, to which he gave 3.5 stars (3 is "extraordinary" and 4 is "sublime") and the comments:
A Provence-style rosé from California’s leading Rhone Ranger, this is a blend of grenache, mourvèdre, vermentino and a sploosh of counoise. It pours forth flavors of watermelon, roses and red berries, with a note of citrus on a minerally finish. I say “finish,” but the wine seemingly never does, as the flavors show great persistence. Bravo! ABV: 13 percent. BW: 480 grams (Light).
