How much is a tasting at Tablas Creek Vineyard?

Tastings are $25 per person and free for wine club members; one fee is waived per 2-bottle purchase.

Do I need to make a reservation?

We encourage you to make your tasting appointments in advance, particularly on weekends in the spring and fall. In slower times and mid-week, we often have same-day appointments available.

Do you accept walk-ins?

We do accept walk-ins, subject to availability. For last-minute visits, we encourage giving us a call at 805.237.1231 x245 to ensure we have the space and staff to accommodate.

Can I bring a group larger than 8?

The group size limit of 8 outside and 4 inside is the maximum our tables/bars can seat. Our built-in tables and bars mean we cannot combine tables. Please do not book multiple tables for a single group, as those tables will likely not be near each other. Although we are not set up for larger group tastings, if you have a special request, please email visit@tablascreek.com.

Is there food available in the tasting room?

We do not offer food in our tasting room and ask that you consume any off-premise food in our dedicated picnicking area before or after your tasting. We ask that you limit your picnicking to the marked picnic areas surrounding our tasting patio.

What if high temperatures or rain are forecasted for the day of my outdoor tasting?

In the event of extreme weather, we will make every effort to move your outdoor tasting to our limited indoor space. However, we may have to suspend our outdoor tastings due in the event our indoor space is full. If so, we will notify you via the email provided with the reservation. We will have someone at the tasting room for pickup and consultation 10am-5pm.

Is the tasting room handicap accessible?

♿ We make every effort to be accessible for all our guests, and both our patio and our tasting room have accessible seating options. You can reserve an accessible table by including a note in the “Special Instructions” section of your reservation or by emailing us.

What wines will be available during my tasting?

We offer three wine flights that rotate semi-regularly. You may choose from classic (mixed), red wine selection, or white wine*(currently suspended until Spring 2025) selection flights, served in two flights, each including our flagship Esprit de Tablas, small-production wines, and winery exclusives.

Are you dog-friendly?

Because of limited seating, we ask that groups with pets choose the outdoor patio tasting. Well-behaved pets on a leash are welcome for all outdoor tasting reservations.

Are you kid-friendly?

Because of our indoor bar seating, we ask that groups with kids choose the outdoor patio tasting with dedicated tables. Kids of all ages should be accounted for in the total guest count.

How much time should I allot for my tasting?

Due to the nature of the focused flight format, please allow 75-90 minutes for your tasting.

How do I cancel my reservation?

We understand that the unexpected happens. If you are unable to make your reservation, you can cancel by emailing visit@tablascreek.com.
