In Our Community Tablas Creek helps make lasting change in our local community and beyond
Major Organizations We Support
must! Charities
Tablas Creek Vineyard joined dozens of wine industry and related local businesses as visionary partners of must! charities. We collaborate with these partners to amplify the effects of a single donation making significant, lasting change in our local community. must! charities is dedicated to improving the quality of life by offering hope, compassion, and resources to those in need. Instead of giving charitable "handouts", must! charities walks alongside other local organizations to create long-term, sustainable transformation within the region. Every year Tablas Creek Vineyard contributes to must! charities through a fundraising event: December Must! Month; we donate $1 for every bottle sold throughout the month. In total, Tablas Creek has donated over $31,000 from funds raised during must! month since 2012.
"We are honored to support must! Charities’ "real food for real kids" campaign. must! has built a creative and powerful program for our community, and it was a treat to make our donation in person at the Boys & Girls Club, to spend time with the kids who are benefiting, and to see the practical impact of such a worthwhile program” - Jason Haas, Partner and General Manager of Tablas Creek Vineyard
Festival Mozaic
Founded in 1971 as the San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival, Festival Mozaic is a celebration of five centuries of music held year-round in spectacular venues on California's picturesque Central Coast. From Bach and beyond to Mozart and more, our world-class Festival presents diverse programs and dynamic international artists in chamber music and orchestral concerts, early music ensembles, and unique performances that combine classical training with jazz and world music.
Foundation for the Performing Arts Center
The Foundation for the Performing Arts Center supports our wonderful performance venue on the campus of Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. The PAC provides our community the opportunity to attend performances of Broadway Theater, symphony orchestras, revues, stand-up comedy, and other live attractions. It also serves to give local groups a professional performance stage on which to show their talent. Tablas Creek is a founding member of the Winery Partners of the Foundation, a group now in its fourth year, which makes yearly substantial contributions in recognition of the importance of the venue to the county's cultural life and of the wineries in the county's economic vitality.
Paderewski Festival of Paso Robles
The Paderewski Festival of Paso Robles is a world-class musical event in Paso Robles celebrating the history, life and musical artistry of one of its most famous residents: Ignacy Jan Paderewski. Through the organization and promotion of events, performances and competitions, all of which are free of charge to the public, the Paderewski Festival seeks to encourage, motivate and recognize the achievements and the development of young piano performers, educate the public about the connection Paderewski had to Paso Robles, and expand the size, scope and quality of public performances for musicians on the Central Coast.

Within the Wine Community
Our founder, Bob Haas, was a board member of the Paso Robles AVA Committee, the group that built the proposal to create 11 new sub-AVAs within the the Paso Robles American Viticultural Area (AVA). This seven-year effort helped recognize the diversity of the amazing Paso Robles AVA, and will help consumers better understand the different growing conditions in our region.
Partner and General Manager Jason Haas serves on the board of directors of the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance and the Rhone Rangers and is a past board member of the Family Winemakers of California.
We are proud to have been recognized with the "Community" California Green Medal from the California Sustainable Winegrowers Alliance.
