Robert Parker Wine Advocate (September 2024): "Tablas Creek is a singular gem in the world of California wine."
We were thrilled to see reviewer Matthew Luczy's Paso Robles report focusing on the 2022 and 2023 vintages for Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. His review of Tablas Creek included an introduction that is maybe the nicest thing a writer has ever said about us:
Tablas Creek is a singular gem in the world of California wine. Very few wineries can successfully straddle producing an accessible array of entry-level wines, a diverse and complete set of middle-range curiosities and world-class top cuvées, all while leading the way through intentional, progressive farming. No other producer in Paso Robles, and few in all of California, can approach the versatility and thoughtfulness across such a diverse lineup while maintaining an unwavering stance that highlights balance, nuance and timelessness.
As for his reviews of the wines, they included our 2022 Panoplie at 96 points, tied for the highest rating of any wine from his Paso Robles report! Other highlights include new releases like the 2022 Esprit de Tablas (95 points), 2022 Esprit de Tablas Blanc (94 points), and 2022 En Gobelet (94+ points); as well as wines yet to be released, like the 2022 Le Complice (94 points), 2023 Esprit de Tablas Blanc (94-96 points) and 2022 Mourvedre (94 points).
